Hello! I'm so excited to meet you. My name is Becca and I work on a cardiac step down unit. Over the last 6 years I have become a preceptor, relief supervisor, swat/resource nurse, and am very involved in our new grad training and education. The thing I see new grad nurses struggle with the most is fully understanding what is going on with their patients and the rationale behind what we do. I emphasize critical thinking in all of my teaching so that you know more than definitions and can get through any scenario.
