About Devarshi
Hi, I’m Dev - I’m studying Computer Science at the University of Cambridge. Having recently been through school and the university admissions process myself, I understand how challenging it can feel at times. I want to make the university admissions process more accessible and less confusing. Specialised help can be hard to find, and students often hear conflicting advice about what’s really needed. My goal is to demystify the process - especially the interview - and provide clear, practical guidance to help students prepare with confidence. For GCSE and A Level tutoring, I focus on helping students build a deep understanding of the material and develop strong problem-solving skills. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into clear explanations and helping students feel more confident and capable in their subjects.

I focus on ensuring a strong understanding of key concepts before moving on to targeted practice. For GCSE and A Level subjects, lessons may begin with clear explanations and examples, followed by guided problem-solving and past-paper style questions to reinforce learning. For university admissions preparation, I help students develop strategies for tackling unfamiliar problems and provide mock interview practice to build confidence and problem-solving/analytical skills. Lessons are typically one hour long and tailored to each student’s goals and pace. I have previous teaching experience through my school’s partnerships programme, where I helped teach and lead science lessons. My lessons are aimed at students aged 14–18 preparing for GCSEs, A Levels, or university entrance.
