About JIMIT

I am a Cambridge IGCSE Biology teacher with over 12 years of classroom experience, an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, and a B.Ed. Having worked in biopharmaceutical research and operations, I connect textbook concepts to real-life science, making biology intuitive rather than memory-heavy. My lessons focus on deep conceptual understanding, structured past-paper problem-solving, and Cambridge mark-scheme accuracy so students consistently achieve top grades.

About the class

I teach biology through understanding, not memorization.

Concepts come first, jargon later — explained with diagrams, real-world examples, and cause-and-effect reasoning.

Students learn how to decode Cambridge exam questions (describe, explain, evaluate) and practice phrasing answers the way examiners expect.

Every class includes active recall: quick quizzes, diagram labeling, and targeted questions to catch misconceptions early.

For international learners, I use dual-language support (CLIL techniques) to make scientific vocabulary accessible and clear.
