About Rodgerick
I am a graduate in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge.
I have extensive classroom and one-on-one teaching experience, having spent a year in Italy teaching English as a foreign language as well as English Literature, History and Philology to students ranging from 11 to 22 years of age.
I have also volunteered as a language assistant at secondary schools, and have additional experience as an au-pair and tutor to children aged between 6 and 12.
I am committed to helping every student achieve their full potential, and nurturing a love of learning that will stay with them throughout their studies.
My degree in Spanish and Italian is heavily based in literature and involved rigorous in-depth analysis of prose and poetry from different periods. I also have an A* in English Literature A Level.
Certified level C2 in Italian and C1 in Spanish according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Specialism in Romance and English historical linguistics providing me with the skills and knowledge to explain to students the underlying systems at work in the more complex and potentially confusing parts of language study.
