About Dave

My experience has progressed from hard-technology engineering into product design, production, operations, and business leadership. I developed from an engineer into the CEO of a U.S. manufacturing company. Throughout my career, I have understood and practiced the importance of connecting individual people with their team, department, company, and ultimately the marketplace.

With a strong technical foundation, I have developed operations and markets using sound business principles involving design, materials, costs, pricing, margins, liquidity, expansion, refinement, and autonomy. My approach has always been to establish optimal levels, understand how the pieces work together, and maximize achievement.

My lessons bring these real-world experiences into practical discussions tailored to what you want to learn and accomplish.

About the class

I team up with students and professionals to understand business through practical, real-world examples. Lessons can be tailored to focus on business management, operations, manufacturing, entrepreneurship, product development, and strategy. I adapt each lesson to your goals and experience level. I will combine formal business education with decades of hands-on executive and manufacturing experience, making complex business concepts clear, practical, and useful. Of particular focus is a renewed approach to the Economics of the Individual and how they can apply themselves to the team and company with ambition and creativity. I have experience in all the letters and buzzwords, but focus on the baseline intent of organizational objective and structure.
