About Am
I'm an experienced qualified teacher, former Headteacher, Trust SEND Lead, qualified SENDCo and hold a Master's degree in Inclusive Education. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of supporting many young people, families and schools, helping individuals discover their strengths, grow in confidence and achieve their potential.
Confidence hasn't always come naturally to me. As a newly qualified teacher, I remember feeling nervous standing in front of a class. Through reflection, continual learning and a commitment to personal growth, I developed the confidence to become a Headteacher and Executive Headteacher, leading schools, developing staff and delivering training to hundreds of education professionals. That journey taught me that confidence isn't something we're born with, it's a skill that can be nurtured, developed and strengthened.
My coaching brings together evidence-informed approaches from inclusive education, educational psychology, positive psychology and wellbeing, alongside my experience as a qualified yoga teacher. Together, these approaches create a calm, supportive environment where young people feel safe, understood and empowered to embrace new opportunities.
Above all, I believe every young person deserves to feel valued, capable and confident in who they are. My goal is to equip them with the confidence, resilience and lifelong skills to flourish not only in school, but throughout life.

Confidence can be developed with the right support, encouragement and strategies. These personalised coaching sessions are designed to help young people manage school anxiety, build resilience and develop the confidence to flourish in learning, friendships and everyday life.
Grounded in evidence-informed approaches from education, educational psychology, positive psychology and wellbeing, every session is carefully tailored to each individual's strengths, needs and goals. Together, we'll develop practical strategies that can be used long after our time together, empowering young people to approach challenges with greater confidence and independence.
Sessions focus on three interconnected areas:
Mind – Building resilience, emotional regulation and self-belief, helping young people manage anxiety, cope with setbacks, develop a growth mindset and approach tests, assessments and new challenges with confidence.
Body – Exploring the connection between body and mind through posture, breathing, movement and relaxation techniques, developing practical strategies to reduce nerves, improve focus and feel calm in challenging situations.
Voice – Developing the confidence to communicate effectively, express thoughts and emotions, build positive friendships, speak up in class, advocate for themselves and find their authentic voice.
Whether someone is experiencing school anxiety, emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), friendship difficulties, low self-esteem, worries about tests or assessments, challenges with transitions, or simply needs support believing in themselves, every session provides a safe, encouraging space to develop confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing.
My aim is to equip every individual with practical strategies, lasting confidence and lifelong resilience, enabling them not only to overcome today's challenges but to embrace future opportunities with confidence, curiosity and self-belief.
