About Hema
Hello! I’m an experienced and passionate teacher who loves helping children learn with confidence and curiosity.
I have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, a B.Ed., and an MBA, along with 8+ years of teaching experience in Cambridge and international school environments.
Over the years, I have worked with students of different ages, abilities and learning styles. This has taught me that every child learns differently—and the right explanation, encouragement and approach can make a big difference.
As a teacher, I believe learning should be clear, engaging and enjoyable. I focus on understanding concepts rather than memorizing answers, and I encourage students to ask questions, think logically and solve problems independently.
For my Math classes, I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and improving at their own pace.

I offer personalized Math classes for students from Grades 2 to 8, with lessons designed according to each child’s learning pace, strengths and areas that need improvement.
My approach is to help students understand the “why” behind Math, rather than simply memorizing formulas or steps. Through clear explanations, practical examples, guided practice and interactive activities, I help children build strong mathematical foundations and become more confident problem-solvers.
