About Punnyasloak
Hi, I'm Prinon (adding my nickname since pronouncing Punnyasloak is a mouthful) — and I'm here to make math make sense! I love helping students unlock their own potential. I’ve worked with learners across all major curricula — IGCSE, GCSE, IB, K-12, CBSE, ICSE, State Boards — from Grades 1 to 10, and I’ve seen how the right guidance can turn confusion into confidence.
Studying engineering at VIT and later at University of Nottingham taught me something I didn't expect: any subject stops being hard the moment you actually get interested in it. Math was the one I feared most as a student, until a teacher showed me it was just logic, not magic, and that fear disappeared for good. That shift is what I try to recreate for every student I teach. Before we talk marks or exam techniques, I want you to stop dreading the subject and start seeing how it fits together, because that's what makes the foundation stick long after the exam is done. Twelve plus years of teaching across GCSE, A- Levels, CBSE, ICSE and ISC boards, backed by engineering degrees from India and the UK, tells me this approach isn't just a nice idea, it holds up.

Every student walks in with a different relationship to math, some are quick but careless, others are slow but thorough, so I start by figuring out which one you are before deciding how to teach you. The first session is a free assessment, where I look at where the actual gaps lie rather than just the syllabus topic you're stuck on. From there I build a study plan around those specific weak points, and each class after that follows a rhythm: revisit what tripped you up last time, work through new concepts using problems from your own board, then homework that targets exactly what needs reinforcing. Having taught Cambridge, CBSE, ICSE, ISC and West Bengal board students for over 12 years, I've found consistency matters more than intensity, which is why I offer a performance guarantee, provided we commit together to 3 classes a week and every homework set gets completed.
