About Disha
My name is Disha and I'm an international student who has lived in 4 countries growing up. Living in these 4 countries, I have developed a strong interest in sociocultural psychology which led me to studying it in IB and then at university, along with several research roles. I was able to get a First Class degree in Psychology at King's College London and have tutored my friends for a while.
Outside of psychology, I enjoy reading, art and being outdoors and travelling. I also worked in HR for a year in Unilever and can chat about this more too! Currently, doing an MPhil in Management at the University of Cambridge.

My approach to teaching psychology involves dividing psychology into key approaches: biological, cultural, social and cognitive. Then, covering the key topics within these approaches and the accompanying landmark studies. The emphasis is on critical thinking in psychology and my lessons will introduce a concept but then focus on criticisms of the key approaches within the concepts. I also aim to provide a strong foundation in research methods through my classes.
Some lessons will explicitly focus on assessment prep either for IB psychology or BSc Psychology.
