Actually, I think the best guitarists are the ones who stay grounded in the songs people love. I spent 22 years playing in Tex-Mex and Latin pop circuits before shifting my focus entirely to teaching. Being a musician means you never stop learning, which is why I have worked with 339 students over 19 years.
I enjoy helping absolute beginners find their footing just as much as I help working professionals refine their technique. My classroom is a space where we value the music over the ego.
