My goal is to teach my students how to play by ear. After a short amount of time (6-12 months), you should no longer need lessons, nor tabs. I will teach you how to listen to a song, figure out what key it’s in, add a capo if needed, what chords are played, and break down the melody just by slowing down the track and taking a few seconds at a time. By doing this, it allows you to play new or familiar tunes with others in a jam setting without knowing how to play the song nor looking up the tab of the song.
