I am a Biomedical Engineering student with a strong foundation in math, science, and engineering concepts, currently studying at Hofstra University while serving in the U.S. Army as a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter mechanic. My academic and military background has given me extensive experience with problem-solving, critical thinking, and disciplined study habits, which I bring into every tutoring session.
I specialize in tutoring math, physics, biology, and general STEM subjects for middle school, high school, and early college students. I focus on helping students truly understand the material rather than memorizing formulas or steps. By breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable ideas and connecting them to real-world applications, I help students build confidence and long-term academic skills.
I have experience mentoring students through STEM programs, Science Olympiad leadership, and one-on-one academic support. I also help students develop effective study habits, organization skills, and test-taking strategies. My goal is to equip students with tools they can use independently, not just during our sessions.
