She has also worked with elementary-aged children where she was one-on-one in special education. She enjoys teaching young artists because of their enthusiasm and willingness to experiment with new ideas. While recently relocating to West Palm Beach with her family, Karen has enjoyed the South Florida landscape that has inspired her recent artistic direction.
