About Effie
Music has always been an important part of my life, and teaching guitar allows me to share that passion with others. I have 12 years of experience teaching guitar to high school students, college learners, and adults, and I have successfully taught around 300 students.
My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning easy, structured, and enjoyable. I believe students learn best when lessons are simple and progress is steady.
In my lessons, I teach the essential guitar techniques including basic chords, rhythm patterns, strumming styles, finger exercises, and music basics. These skills help students build a strong musical foundation.
I also help students learn popular songs and simple melodies, which makes learning fun and keeps them motivated to practise regularly.
Teaching a large number of students has helped me develop effective teaching methods that support beginners and help them improve step by step.
Many of my students have grown confident enough to perform at school and college programmes, which is always a rewarding experience as a tutor.
My goal is to help students build guitar skills, confidence, and a deep appreciation for music.

My Guitar teaching methodology focuses on building both technical ability and musical understanding through clear communication and flexible teaching methods. I begin by understanding each student’s learning style and musical goals so that I can design lessons that suit their needs. Students learn fundamental Guitar techniques such as chords, strumming patterns, rhythm exercises, scales, and finger exercises.
These basics help create a strong foundation for further musical development. I explain each concept in simple steps and provide demonstrations so students can practise effectively. I also use real-life musical examples and case studies from songs to show how Guitar techniques are used in real music.
This helps students connect theoretical knowledge with practical playing. Along with Guitar training, I teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, rhythm development, improvisation basics, songwriting, and performance preparation. These subjects help students become well-rounded musicians. My goal is to help students develop confidence, creativity, and strong Guitar playing skills while enjoying the journey of learning music.
