Beginner-focused Japanese lessons with an experienced native teacher. Enjoy fun, structured lessons, plenty of speaking practice, and English support!

I first met Ayuka when she was working in Australia, and from the beginning I was impressed by how polite, friendly, reliable and efficient she was. She also has excellent English skills, which made communicating with her very easy.

Over the years, as we got to know each other better, I came to appreciate what a positive, thoughtful, caring, considerate and patient person she is. She is naturally encouraging and has a wonderful ability to make people feel comfortable and supported.

Ayuka has lived in various places around the world, which I believe has given her a broad perspective, a genuine appreciation of different cultures, and a good understanding of what it is like to live abroad and communicate across languages and cultures. I think this will be a real strength when teaching Japanese to English-speaking students.

I have no hesitation in recommending her as a Japanese teacher. I am confident her students will find her friendly, supportive and a pleasure to learn from.

I highly recommend AK to any student looking for a teacher who inspires trust, confidence, and motivation.

I have known AK for three years, and from the beginning, she has made me feel comfortable while also encouraging me to challenge myself. She is well-prepared, dedicated, and committed to making learning feel achievable with the right effort and commitment.

Beyond her excellent teaching skills, AK is a wonderful person with valuable experiences from different countries that enrich the way she connects with and supports her students. I strongly recommend her as both an outstanding teacher and an inspiring human being.

I really enjoy taking lessons with her! She took the time to understand my level from the start, so we were able to jump right into learning in the first class. Her lessons have a great balance of support and encouragement, which makes learning enjoyable and motivating. I highly recommend giving her classes a try!

Ayuka is incredibly welcoming and patient with all of her students. I have never felt pressured or overwhelmed!

I know Ak as a friend, and I can confidently say that she is one of the most hardworking people I know. She genuinely has a big heart and a desire to help others.
She is a patient person.
She does whatever it takes to enable everyone to give their best.
