About Xinyi
I am Xinyi Yao, an energetic and proactive Business Management graduate with more than three years’ teaching experience in Chinese educational institutions. This experience has equipped me with extensive teaching experience and the ability to learn new knowledge and theories quickly both from the short-term self-learning or training. And I am going to attend the PGCE course of Secondary Business Education with Qualified Teacher Status from September. This means that I would be able to better understand the education system in the UK soon. Also, I am a talkative and kind-hearted person who’s keen on communication and helping others. Furthermore, I have some hobbies like playing basketball in the arcade. So, I am glad to meet you, and to become both your friend and your teacher.

· Usually, I deliver the class based on the subject knowledge first to help students review the knowledge first. And then I would like to help students deal with some problems, including some areas they don't understand on class, or some mistakes they make in their homework or in their exams.
· For the tutoring only, I could help supervise students complete their homework, and then correct their home work. To help them strengthen their memory, I will design questions similar to those they get wrong. This is also called 'raise one and reflect three' in Chinese old saying.
