I've been playing the piano since the age of 7, studied Classical and Jazz in college, performed in Japan. Teaching piano to all levels in Brighton at a relaxed pace, or a faster pace if you prefer.

About Nanako
When I was a child, I remember going to my family friends house and seeing a piano for the first time and just loved bashing the keys. I was instantly drawn and wanted to learn more. Since the age of 7 I have been having lessons. In September 2023 I achieved a distinction in ABRSM Grade 8. I enjoy performing and am part of a piano club in Brighton. I also have an A Level in Music.
I have always loved playing the piano, particularly when I lived in Japan. I realised whilst I was abroad, being able to play the piano, have lessons and perform was something I truly enjoyed and made me feel at home.
I can help you with ABRSM exams, classical music, jazz and pop.

I strongly believe if you are passionate, persistent and driven you can achieve anything. I believe it is important to learn music you love so my lessons will be based on the students' preferences, identifying areas of strengths and weaknesses, and which aspects can benefit from specific attention.
I am myself more inclined towards doing graded exams. However, as long as the student regularly practises and is motivated, I think great progress can be achieved.
