I prefer to keep my teaching methodology flexible as demanded by parents or as needed by my student.
But for sure I planned a little assessment at the end of the week to revise the whole content learned so far.
Also for the day-to-day class, I always try to attach some practical knowledge associated with the classwork as it makes it easy for students to understand effectively for the long run. Daily homework is always there in my classes for maintaining consistency.
