About Opal
With more than 3 years of guitar teaching experience and a BS in Audio Engineering (Guitar Focus), I specialise in jazz and blues improvisation. My lessons cater to school students, hobbyists, and professionals alike. Modal scales, arpeggios, and dominant seventh theory form the foundation of every session. Bebop phrasing and stylistic detail are emphasised to create a unique improvisational voice. I have worked with students from Intermediate to Advanced levels.
