About Khoa
Hi, I’m Khoa (Kay), currently studying a Bachelor of IT and I teach math.
I got into tutoring because I actually enjoy helping people understand things that used to confuse them. I know how frustrating math can feel sometimes, so I like breaking it down in a simple way that just makes sense.
I’ve been teaching for about 2 years, mainly with secondary and high school students, and I try to keep lessons relaxed, easy to follow, and not stressful. I also use a bit of tech and simple coding tools I’ve made to make things more interesting and easier to visualize.
At the end of the day, I just want students to feel more confident and not hate math as much (or maybe even enjoy it a bit).

Hi, I’m Khoa (Kay), and my approach to tutoring is simple: make students truly understand, not just memorize. I focus on breaking down complex math concepts into easy, relatable steps so students can build confidence and think independently.
My teaching style is interactive, patient, and modern. I encourage students to ask questions, and I adapt my explanations depending on how they learn best. I also integrate technology into my lessons, including tools and simple coding examples that I create myself, to help students visualise concepts and make learning more engaging and practical.
A typical lesson runs for about 60 minutes. We usually start with a quick review of previous material, then move into new concepts, followed by guided practice and problem-solving. For high school students, I also include exam-style questions to build strong problem-solving and test-taking skills.
