About Chloe
I’m a singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer based in Naarm/Melbourne. I recently completed a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Songwriting, and I’ve been playing guitar and writing music for many years. My own music draws from indie rock, folk, alternative and singer-songwriter influences, and I enjoy experimenting with lyrics, melody, harmony and production to create something personal.
I want to teach songwriting and composition because I know how exciting it can be when you first find your own voice through music. I want to create a space where students can experiment, make mistakes, and develop their own ideas without feeling like there is only one “right” way to write a song.
My approach would be practical and creative. I’d encourage students to listen to music they love, analyze what makes it work, experiment with instruments and melodies, develop their lyrics, and turn their ideas into complete songs. Most importantly, I want students to feel confident expressing themselves and to leave lessons feeling excited about creating music.
