My approach blends the academic rigor of my BM Guitar degree with the warmth of my background teaching newcomer families. I find that when we incorporate a bit of songwriting or blues theory, the technical work becomes much more engaging for kids and adults alike.
It is truly rewarding to see a student finally master a difficult fingerpicking pattern after weeks of practice.
