About Courtney
I am interested in Kpop, Jrock and am new to the world of Anime and Manga. In my spare time I like to be with my cats, family and friends. Australia has a strong outdoors lifestyle, and I love to be in nature and exploring new places.
I am the Training Coordinator at my local Emergency Services unit, where we have over 100 members (volunteers) and I also work in the Learning and Development projects for the Emergency Service staff members. I like to understand how the student best learns, I myself am a kinesthetic learner and prefer visual aids, as well as creative elements such as sound, color and leveraging off my personal interests. Feedback is also a crucial part of my practice. I have done various courses over the years in how to best provide (and receive) feedback! Please note that as an Australian native speaker, I do use British UK spelling and not American spelling. Feel free to arrange a session with me to see if we are a compatible match. It is best to learn (and teach) someone that you work well with. I would like to understand how to best structure and set the lesson plan, so that you feel confident about hitting your goals. I hold a Certificate III in Business Administration, Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety, Certificate IV in Marketing and Communications and I am currently scheduled to complete an Advanced Certificate IV in Training and Assessing in December this year.
