About Francesco
I decided quite random to go and study physics (I wanted to do theater initially). But I tried, and I liked it a lot right away. Clearly difficult, and trying at times, but not enough to make me give up. I truly enjoy tutoring and teaching, because it is rewarding to be able to make someone understand something that they are not understanding, but that you understand. I think I'm good at it. Not least, I hate when people don't know how to make themselves understood, or pretend to teach what they don't know, like many professors whose children I teach are mere victims. I do not claim the right to stand on the pedestal of knowledge transmission, however I am aware of my skills, and I make them available to those in need.

For years I’ve been helping high school kids to overcome the difficulties related to math and physics, and I manage to do it well, precisely because I remember what the painful points were for me, the hard concepts, the things that did not seem make sense. Sometimes there are things that high school teachers and textbooks don't explain, can't explain, or just explain wrong. I follow a book or the instructions of a teacher only if expressly requested by the student, otherwise: blackboard, sheets, and let’s come to things on our own, the solid way. My method varies depending on whether you have to pass a writing exam or an interview verification, to prep for a test or to consolidate a personal math/physics background etc ... varying the percentages of theory, to know what lies behind and fill in the gaps, and exercises, to understand what lies beyond, and consolidate.
I try as hard as I can not to get boring and to keep concentration, because I know it is easy to get lost when you are on the other side
