About TILAK

I am passionate about sharing my love for art, and feel it is of utmost importance that students of all ages are exposed to learning in the arts.
NOW I am a professional creative designer over 5 years. Besides I am a freelance and a fine art teacher past ten years of experience.
I received my Bachelors of Visual Art degree (WESTERN PAINTING) from Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong, and Masters of Fine Arts degree (INDIAN PAINTING) from Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies University, Bhopal. Diploma in visual arts from Birla Academy of Art and Culture, KOLKATA.
I have had a very large range of art education experiences, which have led me to this position. All of them have provided me with insights, tools, ideas, and knowledge that I am now drawing from with a level of experience and maturity that maximizes my effectiveness as a teacher.

About the class

As a professional teacher I am caring, passionate, enthusiastic and excited about providing engaging and challenging learning experiences. My aim is to assist, encourage and support students to achieve their learning goals. In my classroom I believe that all students have the fundamental right to have access to a successful and fulfilling education in order to be productive and valuable members of society. I take on a holistic, flexible and differentiated pedagogical approach to teaching, to allow for inclusivity within my classroom domains. teacher’s primary role is to coach and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material, and to measure student learning through both formal and informal forms of assessment, like group projects, student portfolios, and class participation.
