I wanted to get into university studying Architecture, but I had no idea where to start. With Fany's guidance I successfully got in! She is a good listener who gives feedback quickly and she has tons of useful ideas. She answered my questions with loads of patience, recognized my improvement and encouraged me. I love her teaching style, as it's easy to follow. She also shared her own experiences applying to university, which is definitely one of the main reasons I got in. The main advantage of having a mock interview for me has been the significant elimination of the element of surprise. There tends to be a general idea that the questions are going to be very strange or that they will try to catch you off guard, etc. when it turned out to be a very sensible process of having a conversation on the topics that you are interested in. Even though ‘expecting the unexpected’ is always a useful thing, having a vague idea about what is likely to happen and what not to worry about has been a great source of confidence, which is vital in an already stressful situation. Fany gave me such a helpful insight into the nature and the structure of the interview process but even the sole fact that it made me feel so supported by someone, who has been in my shoes, was unbelievably encouraging.
