About Kathryn
Hi, I'm Kathryn, a 22 Year old Architecture graduate with a passion for English Literature and helping students achieve their academic goals.
I achieved an A* in GCSE English Literature (Grade 9) and an A at A-Level, so I understand first-hand the skills needed to succeed in exams. Through my university studies, I have continued to develop strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
My lessons are friendly, supportive, and tailored to each student's needs. Whether you're looking to improve your confidence, strengthen your essay writing, or achieve a top grade, I aim to make English Literature engaging, approachable, and rewarding.

My tutoring approach is tailored to each student's individual needs, confidence level, and learning style. I focus on building a strong understanding of texts while developing the analytical and essay-writing skills required to achieve top grades in exams and coursework.
Lessons typically last **60 minutes** and may include close analysis of texts, essay planning and feedback, exam technique, revision strategies, and practice questions. I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their own critical ideas.
I achieved an A* in GCSE English Literature and an A at A-Level, and have extensive experience studying and writing analytical essays throughout my academic career, including at university level. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the demands of current exam specifications and can offer practical, effective strategies for success.
Lessons are available online for GCSE and A-Level English Literature students of all abilities, whether they are aiming to improve confidence, boost grades, prepare for exams, or achieve top marks.
