I have contacted her for Arabic lessons through Superprof and am so glad I contacted her first, couldn't ask for a better tutor.
She has a lot of years of experience with students, and this comes through in her teaching skills. She also makes the class fun and interactive.
She has developed her own materials in booklets, an alphabet booklet, level A and level B Arabic, and a grammar booklet. These includes amazing audio material.
I found the booklet helpful, as it has a lot of visual tools. This was especially helpful with learning the sounds of the alphabet with where in the mouth the sound is produced. The first time, even with an Arabic background, that I was able to make the correct sound due to these excellent resources she has done herself, which is amazing.
Finally, Carol is a wonderful tutor that anyone would find themselves learning and speaking Arabic quickly and proficiently.

Having classes with teacher Carol is a blast. I got to know Carol via a friend who studied at her school in Tripoli, Lebanon and I've been studying with her for the last couple of years. Wouldn't miss it for the world. When I started, I had the goal to keep up my previous learned Arabic whilst combining it with my fulltime job. Although Carol can definitely offer a structured program with exercises, I chose to focus on communication and reading stories together. Carol is flexible to adjust the lessons to your liking and add exercises or specific topics on demand. For example, when I travelled to Jordan I learned the basics of this particular Arabic dialect and we watched and translated videos on Jordan together. Carol has a very fun, joyful and motivational positive-minded personality and a pure passion for teaching. She is highly skilled and knowledgeable regarding the Arabic language. I am currently studying Arabic at The University of Edinburgh, and began learning the language a year prior with Carol.

We studied one-on-one and in small groups for a little over three months, and her teaching has been foundational and essential to my current studies; confidently and with no exaggeration, I can say that Carol teaches Levantine dialect to a higher standard than students are exposed to at Edinburgh, at least in their first two years.

After those few months, I was more than capable of communicating basically and effectively in day-to-day situations, and saw students of hers who had been studying longer improving constantly.

I regularly take classes with her to boost my current learning, and the speaking practice and insight into my studies she provides are incredibly valuable. She has profound knowledge not only of Arabic, but of how to make space and collaborate with pupils at a personal level, for them to develop the language in genuinely interesting and immediately useful ways—something which is rare enough to be a treasure, as I am sure other students can appreciate.

Particularly at a time when travel, in-person conversations, and immersion into a foreign language is so difficult, I could not reccomend Carol's teaching, patience, and sincere attention more strongly.

Carol is a professional teacher with years of experience in teaching. She has developed a book of her own with many grammar, reading and listening exercises. Her teaching is very structured and organised. Classes are adapted to my level, I asked to have 1 and a half hour classes and we diversify from speaking to listening and then reading text that we have listened, we do written and spoken exercise. I am very very happy and satisfied with this teaching methodology, and Carol is also super nice

I've been taking private lessons with Carol for almost 2 years and she's a great teacher, both for Levantine and standard Arabic. I used to live in Tripoli (Lebanon) where I was the philosophy teacher of the Lycée français. It's been 3 years that Carol is my arabic teacher, and she really is the best, in live and online (I'm French).
Firstly, she is really involved in her class and conveys her passion for the language.
