About Anna

I have wanted to be a teacher for my entire life and I am actively pursuing that in college now. I find education to be the most important thing we have and I strive for others around me to understand that. Equally, I've loved writing for just as long. I am a big reader and was always the teacher's pet in my English classes growing up. Therefore, I leaned into learning about how literature comes to be, writing. I think everyone has a voice and everyone should be given the tools to wield it. It's what sets us apart from being mere animals.

I'm a person that believes that education should be something we all strive for, yet it is incredibly unique to each individual. My teaching style is to find a way to connect my student to the subject at hand. I like to find an interest that I can correlate and give that student a reason to learn. I go slow with my lessons and we cover every detail, really finding a way for the student to find their lightbulb moment. I can really help students in elementary, middle, and high school that struggle with writing and grammar. I like to make learning fun because that's the way it should be. Your child shouldn't leave class miserable.
