Amanda - Sharnbrook - Physical Education

I've known Amanda as we taught in the same secondary school for several years. Amanda is extremely talented as a teacher and as a tutor. She is experienced and capable of tailoring her teaching to the learning needs of her students, who can achieve her full potential under her guidance. Amanda is also a very positive and friendly person - while remaining professional - and this enables her to establish positive and fruitful relationship with her students, who enjoy learning and very often choose to carry on their studies at university.

I worked with Amanda as her second in science at school and can confirm that she is an outstanding teacher. The quality of her lessons are very good and both inspiring and full of rich learning.

Amanda is a great teacher who listens and is a great support. I was an adult learner needing to pass my Science GCSE. She supported my learning and created lots of experiences that were creative to ensure the learning was enjoyable.

I went to Amanda for tutoring A level with Biology. When I first went to her I lacked confidence and I was failing in every area of the course. Amanda didn't seem fazed by this. Week by week I gained in confidence and went from U grades to A grades in some of my module exams. She could identify my strengths and weaknesses and worked with me to try and improve.
I am now studying Biological sciences at Aberystwyth University. Without Amanda's help I wouldn't have got to where I am today.
