About Sophia
I earned my degree from the Faculty of Physics at Novosibirsk State University (NSU) in Novosibirsk, Russia. Throughout my entire scientific career, spanning from graduate studies to becoming a leading scientist, I dedicated my efforts at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics in Novosibirsk. Concurrently, I taught at NSU, within the faculties of physics and natural sciences, where I progressed through various positions, ultimately achieving the rank of full professor from 1966 to 2009. Mathematics has always played a crucial role in both my professional research and teaching endeavors. Consequently, I found myself instructing my students in virtually all mathematics courses at the university level, alongside physics.

I tailor each lesson specifically to cater to the individual learning style and needs of my students. This involves reviewing completed homework, providing clear explanations of any errors, and offering encouragement for even the smallest progress. Following this, I introduce and discuss new material, providing exercises to reinforce understanding. Finally, I assign homework to reinforce learning. As a tutor, my main traits are patience and a willingness to explain concepts in various ways if misunderstandings arise. I am adept at working with students of all levels, from middle school to university.
