I’m [Asande Mavundla], and I’m truly excited to be your teacher this year. Let me tell you a little about myself. I didn’t choose teaching just as a job—I chose it because I genuinely believe in the power of education to change lives. Growing up, I had teachers who made learning exciting, who listened, challenged me, and showed me that my ideas mattered. That experience inspired me to do the same for others. I’m especially interested in teaching because I love watching people discover new things—when something finally clicks, or when a student realizes they’re capable of more than they thought.
