About Sam
I'm a rising junior, with a lot of experience with kids - since I am a teen, I can better connect with students as I'd understand them from a more open standpoint. I used to be a music student who barely practiced and did it for the fun, but now, I realize there is so much more to it. I've been playing violin since first grade and trumpet since fourth. I've been accepted into countywide orchestral ensembles since fifth grade until now. For trumpet, I've made it to Maryland All-state twice (and counting) and Montgomery County Honors Band since 8th grade, where I made it to the top 5 chairs. I perform at nursing homes, talent shows and more.

I am open to teach all upper strings, specifically violin. I also am open to teach trumpet and its basics. I'm more than willing to teach beginners starting from Elementary School up to freshmen in highschool. I take students through a simple curriculum, ranging from fundamentals to musical etudes. My lessons vary from 30 minutes to an hour, where I'll play with the student, listen to them individually, and aid them in certain musical ways.
