About Edwina

I am 53 years old, and work as a financial administrator. I have no previous Afrikaans teaching experience, but I have previously assisted with math classes for primary school students. My first language is Afrikaans, and I am very good at it. I always had a passion for teaching Afrikaans. I have three children, two still in high school, and all my children only obtained 80% and more for Afrikaans, and get diplomas for this language, because I always assist them with my passion language.

About the class

I will be teaching basic Afrikaans to beginners all over the world. My teaching methods, material, and knowledge are suitable for all ages. This will be done online with my uncapped fiber (secure internet connection), and reliable laptop. This is especially for those who have no background in Afrikaans, but due to recent life circumstances need to get a hold of the language.

My name is Sky Dunjwa, daughter of Edwina Dunjwa. I am a grade 10 student this year. English is my first language and Afrikaans is my second language in school. Since primary school i have obtained 80+ in Afrikaans second language and received several awards for afrikaans. My mother has been helping me improve my second language in a excellent way and she is still helping me to be one of the top students in my afrikaans class. That is why i will recommend her to tutor Afrikaans to anyone because she always makes sure the results are positive.
