About Arun
I am a passionate and dedicated Aerospace Engineer with a strong enthusiasm for teaching and helping students reach their full potential.
I have the ability to break down complex topics into clear, simple explanations and use relatable examples to make learning engaging and accessible for students of different ages and abilities.
I have received positive feedback from my previous students and have seen the impact that personalised support can have on both understanding and confidence. My aim is not only to help students improve academically, but also to develop their confidence, curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
I believe that every student has the ability to succeed with the right guidance and encouragement. I strive to create a supportive and friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing a deeper understanding of the world around them.

I hold a First-Class MEng degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Surrey and have over five years of teaching experience in Mathematics and Physics.
I teach students from Year 7 through to Year 13, supporting learners from a wide range of educational backgrounds, including comprehensive and grammar schools. I also have experience teaching students on engineering courses and apprenticeship programmes.
My approach is tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. Whether the goal is to build confidence in the fundamentals, improve understanding of challenging topics, prepare for GCSE or A-Level examinations, or develop more advanced problem-solving skills, I aim to make each lesson clear, engaging and purposeful.
Lessons are typically one hour long, although longer sessions can be arranged upon request. I am committed to helping students develop not only their subject knowledge but also the confidence and problem-solving skills needed to succeed independently.

Arun is an incredible teacher and a very down-to-earth person, which makes his lessons really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend him to any student looking for a tutor they feel comfortable asking any question. I always felt the lessons were perfectly paced and tailored to me.
I highly recommend Arun as a maths tutor. He explains everything very clearly and makes difficult topics much easier to understand. He was very supportive and explained all my questions to ensure that I was able to do answer exam questions.
Thanks to Arun’s guidance and support, I was able to achieve an A* in A-Level Maths. I’m extremely grateful for all his help and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to improve their maths and achieve top grades. We’ve been really happy with the support our daughter has received from her tutor, Arun. He is patient, encouraging and takes the time to explain things clearly, making sure she understands rather than just moving on to the next topic.
We’ve noticed a real difference in her confidence and understanding since she started having lessons with him. She feels comfortable asking questions and never feels embarrassed if she doesn’t understand something straight away, which is really important to us.
We’re very grateful for all his help and would definitely recommend him to any parent looking for a great tutor!View more recommendations
