About Asiyah

When I was exposed to aerodynamics in my 10th-grade physics class, I knew I found my passion. As I became more curious about the subject, I stumbled upon facts that completely changed my view on women and their careers in aviation. I learned from Women in Aviation International that as of 2017 women only made up 7% of pilots. The numbers were concerning and I wanted to do something about it. I then approached the Anythink Library with a proposal to teach an introductory class on the physics of flight. In particular, I wanted to be a role model for girls that were younger than me. Anythink Library happily agreed to make me an instructor last summer, and my journey into aerodynamics expanded. My mission was to foster a love of aviation and curiosity in young students and it allowed me to continue to develop my passion for aerodynamics.
I currently hold a private pilot's license and am on my way to inspire young female aviators that are more than capable of anything!

Are you a high school/ middle school math and science student? Do you struggle with math and science, or just desire to learn more?

Fear not! Hello, I am Asiyah and I help students take on a new approach in their studies through a hands-on learning experience. I am a student at Purdue University studying to be an Aeronautical Engineering. I was Valedictorian in high school and took more than 10AP classes. I have first-hand experience of the struggles that students face.

If you're a visual learner and would like to see real-world examples of your learning, then I am a perfect match for you! I help students take on a new perspective to enhance their learning experience.

If you're behind in school, I can enforce a plan to help students get back on track by implementing a learning plan and helping them through each challenge.

Also, if you are looking for a mentor to assist with your college application process, then I am the perfect fit. I received an acceptance into every college I applied to and was offered more than $200,000.00 worth of scholarship money.

If you are interested, please send me a message, and I will get back to you within the hour!
