About SHIVAM
Hey there! My name is Shivam and I'm an Actor/Director/Theatre Maker based out of Mumbai. I have been acting professionally since I was 18 years old. I've trained in acting from the renowned American Conservatory Theatre in San Fransisco and also hold an MA in Theatre and Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). I have acted in over 30 plays over the past 7 years and have been part of various TVCs, Ads, web series and films. I currently live in Mumbai and continue to teach drama, work in plays and films and assist behind the camera on projects.

I have always considered acting to be a very complex, insightful yet satisfying form of art. My approach to teaching drama involves four main modules.
1. Movement
2. Improvisation
3. Voice
4. Acting/Character Development
My methods involve various techniques including those of Michael Chekov, Constantin Stanislavski, to name a few. I push my students to go beyond their natural instincts and comfort zones to understand how much work goes into creating a character. At the end of the classes, my students come out more self - aware, confident and emotionally intelligent.
