When we were looking for an art teacher for our son, we consulted with friends. Hannah’s name promptly jumped in.
The experience was fantastic. Not only she was an excellent art teacher who mixed art history with a hands-on approach, but she also became a close and positive reference to our kid. Through time she not only helped him develop his art, but somehow showed him the ropes of the artist’s world. She took him under her wing and, after a hearthwarming collaboration, she -with the help of her team, and our kid’s participation- mounted a real exhibit, in a real gallery downtown. It was such a pleasure to watch him, in sheer awe, to discuss with the staff how and where to display his paintings, and then the invitations, and all his friends, some of his teachers, and perfect strangers coming in to discuss and appreciate his work. It was a touchstone for him and for us. We can’t thank her enough. What can I say? It’s a no-brainer. She’s the one.

Our son developed a knack for drawing since he was a little boy. So, a few years ago, we asked around for a teacher to help him take it a bit further.
Finally someone told us about Hannah. We contacted her and came to an agreement.
The outcome was way beyond what we bargained for.
She is a rare combination of an accomplished artist, a natural teacher, and a fantastic human being.
The “drawing” lessons were so much more than what we expected.
She showed him how to really become an artist.
Under her wing, he learned art history, from the old days to the present. She showed -hands on- different techniques, materials, styles. And, without being intrusive in his own expression, she helped develop a “serious”, deep approach (in a fun, mesmerizing, captivating way), allowing him to break his own boundaries, thus taking his art to a level that surpassed his, and ours, dreams.
And, most importantly, he learned to acquire a sense of importance for his own work. That boosted his self esteem, gave him structure, showing him a path that enabled him to understand and express his emotions and thoughts through his work, a treat that will accompany him throughout his life.
Hands down, one of the best decisions/ experiences we’ve had as a family.

Hannah has the talent that transmutes to her students in a way that makes them actively seek more information and build the decoupling to become proficient in the skills taught. She’s also an amazing communicator and educator and with these skills your student is in the best possible hands
