I take a patient, supportive, and personalised approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to the student's individual needs and learning style. My goal is to build confidence as well as understanding by breaking down difficult topics into simple, manageable steps. I encourage students to ask questions and focus on developing problem-solving skills rather than just memorising methods.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although shorter or longer sessions can be arranged if needed. A typical lesson includes reviewing previous topics, learning a new concept with worked examples, and practising exam-style questions to reinforce understanding and improve exam technique.
I achieved an A in A Level Mathematics and a B in AS Further Mathematics, giving me a strong foundation in GCSE Maths. While I am beginning my tutoring journey, I am enthusiastic about helping students succeed and committed to providing engaging, well-prepared lessons.
My lessons are ideal for GCSE Foundation and Higher students (typically ages 14–16) who want to improve their understanding, boost their confidence, or prepare for exams. I also welcome students who need support with Key Stage 3 Maths to build a solid foundation before GCSE.
