About Ileana
Financial accounting became my main focus after I finished my BBA Finance degree at NYU Stern and started applying these concepts in real-world settings. I have spent the last 9 years teaching students about closing entries, accrual vs cash basis, and financial statements.
Understanding the mechanics of double-entry bookkeeping, cost accounting, depreciation methods, and accounts payable and receivable is necessary for anyone entering a corporate finance role.
