Hello! My name is Demi. Some of my interests are crafting music and being outside. I love animals, and my favorite subject is science. I believe each student is different. One student may need another approach from another. I like to remember that fair does not always mean equal. Fair is providing the student with the resources to succeed, and accommodations vary. I am prepared for setbacks, especially working with a child who may be cognitively impaired. I quickly recognize the warning signs of dysregulation. I can gently approach a delicate situation. I believe students should be incentivized for good behavior, and I go above and beyond to make a child's session not only beneficial academically but enjoyable for the child.
