I had the privilege of being taught by Mr Obeta in my secondary school days. He has the ability to break down the most complex problems in a way any one would understand.

His attention to every detail was unparalleled, his patience in explaining in the simplest terms from first principle, his ability to cater to everyone irrespective of strengths or weaknesses were key attributes that made him a great teacher.

In addition to his excellent teaching style, I have never seen someone more dedicated at his job: Mr Obeta selflessly administered free extra tutorials to all SS3 students preparing for their WASSCE examinations. He would selflessly start the free lessons as early as 6am in the morning and his efforts paid off as my school came first in Further Mathematics in the 2013 NECO SSCE out of all the Federal Government Colleges in the country.
