About Kate
I'm a Masters Student at Edinburgh University, studying in the school of literature with a focus in creative writing. I achieved A*s in English Literature and Langauge at GCSE, and English Literture at A-Level. I have taken a variety of modules throughout my Univeristy studies; Classics,19th century literature, Shakespeare Literature, Creatuve writing and all aspects of the novel as a form, Poetry throughout the ages and modernist literature.
I plan to eventually study for my PhD where I would hope to teach undergraduate students while I study, which I would use my experience here towards.
I'm very patient, dedicated towards a teaching style which takes into account each students particular needs and personality, and come from a family full of teachers so value the occupation immensely. This is not just a money making venture for me, I would genuinely love to help with learning.

I believe strongly in asking questions and never feeling ashamed for needing more help and time to understand any topic at all. I am familiar with different learning methods and learning difficulties, as well as understanding and educated about neurodivergemces.
I woul structure my lessons around the excellent education I have received from secondary through Higher education, tailoring it to each of my tutees needs. I can help with understanding the basics, essay structure, content overviews, reaching the next grade level, exam prep, and standing out from the crowd.
I am extensively well read and will pass on my rounded general knowledge to all of my students, giving them an edge on everyone else they study with.
