About Sahara
I am a 5th year medical student at University of Oxford with experience in tutoring applicants to Medicine. Over the past 3 years, I have tutored several students for the UCAT/BMAT along with personal statement guidance and interview preparation. Most recently, I have two year 13 students who have received offers for 2022 entry and the year 12 student is on her way to a very strong application. I am a hard working and diligent individual with a good work ethic, well balanced with my extracurricular activities. This is something I hope rubs off on my tutees as I guide them through their application process.

More so than with other degrees, applications to study Medicine have multiple steps and layers. With my approach to tutoring, I help students cover each section of their application so that they do not feel overwhelmed and lost. I received offers and interviewed at Oxford, Imperial, King’s College London and Southampton so I am able to use my experience to increase my student’s potential. Being a medical student means I have been in their shoes (including having taken the UCAT and BMAT) and I am also able to recommend extracurriculars and give an insight into what being a medical student is actually like. Considering all this, it’s fair to say that I can be a great guidance.

She always personalised her lessons for me and made me realise what I needed to work on. From practising with her she gave me all the tips and tricks needed to get the best scores I could. In terms of interviews, she is very knowledgeable about what the interviewers would love to hear to get you the highest interview score possible.
