Hi! I’m Isabel, a 4th-year Medical Student at King’s College London, with a BSc in Pharmacology. I have a strong academic background, having achieved Grade 9s in GCSE Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as well as A*AA at A-Level (Maths, Biology, Chemistry). I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their studies by tailoring lessons to their individual learning styles. My Approach to Tutoring I offer online tutoring for KS2, KS3 & GCSE students in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. My sessions are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student's needs. Lesson Structure & Length: Each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, but a typical session lasts 60 minutes and includes:
1. Brief recap of previous topics to reinforce learning.
2. Concept explanation with step-by-step guidance.
3. Practice questions & exam-style problems for application.
4. Student-led discussion & feedback to ensure deep understanding.
Teaching Methodology & Techniques:
- Concept-Based Learning – Breaking down complex topics into simple, digestible concepts.
- Active Engagement – Encouraging students to think critically and explain concepts in their own words.
- Exam-Focused Strategies – Teaching efficient revision methods, past paper techniques, and time management skills.
