About Travis
I graduated from Rogue Community College with my associate's degree a few months after completing high school. I then went on to get my bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Magna Cum Laude from Oregon State University. I am now in my second year at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience. Personally I was raised to value a good education and believe that anyone can achieve what they want in the classroom as long as they are willing to put in the work!

As a current neuroscience PhD student I understand the importance and difficulty of scientific courses. I believe the most important piece of scientific courses is finding real world applications of what is being taught. Perfect! Travis is amazing at going in depth to make sure you have a full understanding of the material as well as giving examples of how the material your learning is actually used in the field! And even if there is something he's not familiar with he can find a way to explain it in a way you can understand with just a quick search!!

Travis is extremely knowledgeable in all things chemistry and is able to break things down to you in ways that really make sense. He always finds ways to explain things in different terms and will stay with you until you are confident before moving onto the next thing. His beaming passion for the subject shows itself when you ask him questions. Even when you ask him to repeat the entire process for the tenth time, he is just as patient and helpful as the first. I would highly recommend taking chemistry lessons with Travis, he is exceptionally proficient and anyone would be lucky to learn from him.
Travis helped me with the krebs cycle in one of my nutrition classes. Chemistry just goes over my head so it was super helpful to have him to walk me through it and simplify it for me. Definitely recommend him as a tutor!
