My name is Lucas and I am currently in my 2nd year at the University of York reading English Literature. I am extremely passionate about this subject as I believe it can be harnessed as a powerful tool to help us become better people. Literature not only encourages you to think critically, but allows you to consume lived experience in a matter of hours or days. It truly is a remarkable way to build on your character and an acquire a greater understand of the complex world we find ourselves in.
