About Piya
I did both my graduation and post graduation from University of Calcutta. In both cases, I secured 1st class (marks>60). I did my specialization in Biological Anthropology. My interest areas are Population genetics, Biostatistics, Anthropological demography etc. I love to teach the graduation students who are starting their career with this subject. I not only give guidance for the syllabus topics but also helps them to choose their path after the completion of their course. I make sure they have a clear vision what to do during the course as well as afterwards.

Anthropology is the holistic study of human, a multidisciplinary subject. It's a comparatively new subject to most of the students. That's why I Prefer to use story-telling method so the students can easily understand the concepts and ideas. They get familiar with each topic easily. Rote learning is strictly avoided, instead I believe in making the subject interesting and informative to the students. Focus on doubt clearing, question answer sessions. Students learn at their own pace.
