About François-Camille
✦ TEACHING IS NOT JUST A JOB — IT IS A PASSION. ✦
After two years of Classes Préparatoires, followed by admission to MINES, I chose to pursue a doctoral path. I am currently studying for an International Master’s in Mathematical Physics at the University of Dijon.
I also hold a DEUG in Classical Studies, which I completed alongside my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. This background allows me to bring my students not only mathematical knowledge, but also the historical, linguistic and philosophical context surrounding mathematics.
Having been bilingual since adolescence, I am also able to teach mathematics entirely in French, for students who wish to develop both their mathematical understanding and their French mathematical vocabulary.

I offer specialist private tuition in Mathematics for GCSE and A-Level students, as well as undergraduate and university students. I also support ambitious students preparing for competitive university admissions, including Oxford and Cambridge, STEP, MAT and other mathematics entrance assessments and interviews.
Having now been an independent tutor for 7 years, I put my experience, teaching skills and motivation at the service of my students, helping them build confidence, develop strong mathematical skills and work towards excellence.

➤ Progress monitoring — I provide progress reports for parents or legal guardians, so they can follow the student's development.

Perfect! Francois-Camille has been really great, he helped with technical issues and provided my daughter with a really good first experience of being tutored, we will definitely book him again.
Perfect! It was just brilliant! Patient and clear, he helped me out a lot, I was always struggling with derivatives and integration. I worked with François-Camille while preparing for a Mathematics application to Cambridge. An excellent tutor for anyone considering a competitive Maths application.
I started lessons because I was really struggling with maths and had lost a lot of confidence. François-Camille was very patient and always found another way of explaining something when I didn’t understand it the first time. The lessons were well organised but never stressful, and I went into my GCSE feeling much more prepared. I ended up doing much better than I had expected!
François- Camille is an excellent teacher! Helped me in areas I struggled in with math and never once failed to have patience and wonderful insight. Definitely let me work at my own pace and always motivated when I was stuck. 100% recommend!
