About Sekemi
Hi everyone! My name is Sekemi and I am a former A-Level grammar school student who studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths and French receiving predictions of minimum A grade. At GCSE Level I achieved 9 grades at a Grade 9 (A*) as well as an A* in Preparation for Working Life, Distinction star in Sports Studies and A* in Further Mathematics. My special interests are in French and Biology and I have a passion for teaching these subjects. I use a mixture of spaced repetition, active recall and consolidation in order to retain information myself which I also use when tutoring others. I mainly have worked with GCSE and A-Level students where I help to increase fluency in language and confidence as well as maximising attainment in the subjects. As an aspirant medic, it is important for me to be organised and assimilate information quickly to pass exams therefore I would love the opportunity to pass on these skills to others and foster a love for education.
